This workshop covers a range of issues that children who have siblings with autism spectrum disorders may face, including the impact on their emotional and behavioral functioning, as well as social and relationship factors. How these issues may change throughout the developmental lifespan will also be discussed. Additionally, factors such as gender, severity of ASD presentation, culture, and comorbid diagnoses are be reviewed. The presentation includes valuable resources for siblings, parents, and therapists.
